Julie Hantak supports our team of healthcare consultants in the areas of client liaison, online research and database management. She acts as an advisor and assists in connecting client demands with a candidate’s background and accomplishments. An expert in customer service, Julie helps expand business and customer relationships. Her experience includes developing candidate sourcing plans, facilitating the candidate selection process, and executing strategic business and marketing initiatives.
Julie is currently studying Health Science at the University of Missouri – Columbia and plans to pursue a career in orthotics and prosthetics.
Ben Daniels, MPA, serves to strengthen a loyal candidate and client base by developing relationships and networks that have continued to make Steve Weiner Search Group a leading executive search firm. He assists in obtaining key customer information and helps qualify prospective candidates. Ben has substantial experience in fundraising, letter writing campaigns, alumni relations, campus outreach, and a skill set that includes strong communication, organization, and relationship building. At Venture Out and White Birch Bay, he successfully planned and implemented assessments and training regimes, managed and executed events for large groups, and supported the growth of programs.
Ben holds a Master of Public Affairs with a specialization in nonprofit management and social entrepreneurship from the University of Missouri – Truman School of Public Affairs. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with emphasis areas in nutrition, biology, and chemistry from the University of Missouri - Columbia.

Deanna McGee, MHR, serves as Vice President and executive recruiter for Steve Weiner Search Group. With over 17 years of progressive experience in human resources and the healthcare industry, Deanna brings a seasoned, strategic perspective to our national searches. Deanna has worked for Sutter Health, a leading multi-hospital system based in Sacramento, California, Grossmont Hospital (now part of Sharp Healthcare) in San Diego, California, and Boone Hospital Center located in Columbia, Missouri. She has become a leading recruiter with her strong background in the development of staffing strategies and consultative support for talent acquisition.
Deanna specializes in identifying outstanding candidates and building strong relationships with current and potential hospital/healthcare clients, To ensure the appropriate candidate fit, she uses current metrics to place executive and management level talent nationwide. Deanna has successfully created employee relations policies and operating systems. Additionally, she has worked extensively with RESUMate and Taleo, state-of-the-art applicant tracking systems.
Deanna holds a Master of Human Resources and Organizational Development from the University of San Francisco and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University.

With 20 years’ experience in senior leadership roles in hospital organizations, Steve is a trusted advisor to many of America’s healthcare leaders. In addition to conducting executive and management level searches for national and regional healthcare companies, Steve counsels professionals on securing their future careers by developing solid resumes that reflect marketable skill sets and successful career paths.
For over 20 years, Steve held senior executive level positions with leading healthcare systems such as Hospital Corporation of America, SSM Health, Kaiser Permanente and the Daughters of Charity (Seton Medical Center and Seton Coastside). Steve’s knowledge and network throughout the acute care, behavioral healthcare, rehabilitation and integrated delivery systems are extensive. As the past Director of Operations for publicly-traded Horizon/CMS Healthcare (one of the first post-acute care companies), Steve is also a well-informed consultant on the current challenges and issues facing today’s long-term acute care, rehabilitation, long-term care, assisted living, hospice and CCRC organizations.
Steve is a recent member of The George Washington University National Advisory Committee on Long Term Care, namely The Wertlieb Institute. Several years ago, he helped organize the Student-Alumni Mentoring Program at The George Washington University and served as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of its Masters Program in Health Services Management and Leadership. Steve has served as a mentor and team leader in the mission statement/values development and continuous quality improvement processes at various organizations. Additionally, he served on the faculties of both the University of San Francisco and the University of La Verne, teaching in their Master of Public Administration/Health Services Management Programs.
Born and raised in New York, Steve earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Healthcare Administration from Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York. He graduated from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. with a Master of Arts in Health Services Administration, after completing his hospital administration residency training at Mercy Hospital and Medical Center (now Scripps Health) in San Diego.
Taylor Stewart provides current market analysis and information systems support. She researches current healthcare trends and utilizes her creative thinking to implement business growth strategies and improve internal operations. Her experience includes candidate research, resume preparation, and website/database management. Additionally, she serves as a consultant, playing a key role in matching the skills and experiences of candidates to the needs of clients who appreciate her ability to tie together culture and fit.
Taylor is currently studying Health Science with an emphasis in Health and Wellness and Minor in Psychology at the University of Missouri- Columbia.
